In case you haven’t heard, on October 20th there will be no more love and peace. Ringo Starr, the former Beatles drummer, for years has signed “love and peace” on his letters and autographs. But after the 20th he will no longer be signing anything. He is done with love and peace. Just watch the following video:

This leads me to ask the question, is there a limit to love and peace? Really? Can you only give so much? Is there a time when peace is unavailable? Is there a limit to how much love you get? I know there is a limit to mine. I’ve run out of both on occasion. I guess so has Ringo. But according to Jesus, peace and love are always available through him.
John 14:25-27, “All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
So good news! Ringo might be done, but Jesus isn’t. Need peace and love…now you know who you can count on. Work hard enough and you might even get an autograph!

I know I have recently learned that very thing. I recently ran out of Peace and Love and found it in prayer through Jesus. He reminded me that it is not about me, but about God.
People are flawed and will eventually hurt each other, through misunderstandings and such. When this happens we must remember that we are here to serve God not to serve our own purposes. HIS will be done.
Lets not make it about us, but about God, who loves us all, no matter what. Lets show each other his love by putting God above our own issues. I found the peace and love I needed and want to share it with all of you. I love all of you.
I want that autograph!
In Christ
